Tenants Matter

Richard Sorensen has extensive experience across the range of social housing. A previous Head of Regulation for the Housing Corporation, he went on to become Tenant Services Coordinator for the TSA, working with the national and regional tenant organisations to promote the National Conversation.

Tenants Matter is a consultancy and interim management business focused on the links between involvement, scrutiny, governance and neighbourhoods. Recent work has included:

- working with TAROE and the Audit Commission to develop a robust landlord accreditation scheme

- working with Chester and Cheshire West on future proofing their mock inspection action plan

- working with Manchester City Council on the impact of the TSA on both their landlord and strategic housing functions

- working with Manchester City Council on developing a 'common standards' approach to neighbourhood management
